Justin Rose one of the young talented players on the PGA Tour. Justin Rose plays Taylor Made golf equipment and has contented in many tournaments on the PGA Tour this year. Justin Rose ties for second at the World Golf Championship at Bridgestone Invitational last week. The Brdigestone Invitational was won by Tiger Woods. Justin Rose has a 63.96% Greens in Regulation Pct. thru the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational and ranks 20th on the money list.

Grip it and Rip it, John Daly has been a highlight machine for years. With two major championships to his credit that is more than Adam Scott, Sergio Garcia, or Justin Rose. John Daly Second after First Round of PGA Championship

Crowd favorite and past PGA Championship winner, John Daly finished with a 3 under par 67 and two behind first day leader Graeme Storm. John Daly did have the outright lead in the first round of the British Open before collapsing down the stretch. Today Daly kept it together and finished strong. Different than the other players Daly mentioned that he didn't play a practice round before this years tournament at Southern Hills. As the weather is scorching and most players drinking plenty of water, Daly said he survives on cigarettes and diet coke.

Tiger Woods finished 6 strokes behind the leader at +1. Tiger tees off in the afternoon tomorrow and will part of the TNT coverage.

Phil Mickelson started off hot only to start spraying his tee shots all over the place and scambling for par. Mickelson finished at +3.

Sergio Garcia made a nice come back after the missed opportunity at the Open Championship with an even par round. This puts Sergio in a good position going into Friday and the weekend.

Sergio used the Taylor Made Rossa Corzina belly butter, and he plays the TP Red golf ball.

In a press conference at the PGA Championship, Sergio Garcia says he will use the same belly putter he used in the British Open. Sergio Garcia has been know for many years as one of the best ball strikers on the PGA Tour though he putting has let him down, especially on Sundays of Majors. For the first three rounds Sergio used the belly putter to exceptional precision as he tool a big lead into Sunday. Though like many other major tournaments before them Sergio fell short on Sunday at the British Open.

Sergio at the British Open used the Rossa Corzina belly putter from Taylor Made. I haven't found the putter available yet for consumers.

Though now at Southern Hills, Sergio Garcia has another chance to will a major and see if the belly putter helps him have ice in his veins the next 10 foot put to win.

No major champion in golf has ever used the belly putter so Sergio stands to be the first if he wins.

PGA Championship Comments from Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson

Tiger Woods, Phi Michelson, and other top PGA Tour golfers met with the media for the traditional new conferences before golf's major championships.

Tiger Woods mentioned that with the hot temperatures and advanced golf balls that the ball is traveling farther than the last time Southern Hills hosted a major. Tiger felt that the heat doesn't effect him that much and scuffed at the idea that the heat can do anything to his concentration.

Phil Mickelson talking about what Sergio Garcia is going through said that talking to the media was the hardest part about not winning a major.

Sergia Garcia seemed to handle himself more mature this week than the news conference after losing the British Open. Sergio could be the player to beat this week as in the past he has played well after disappointing finishes in majors.
